The Challenge
PureRED, an international advertising and marketing agency, faced several challenges in content management. In particular, users had difficulty in manually incorporating content into their work. This lack of integration made it difficult to streamline the workflow and track changes effectively, and was particularly problematic for long-running projects like catalogs or brochures, where updates to packaging or graphics could occur over months of work.
Without an efficient integration solution, catching such changes was only possible during the later stages of the workflow, potentially leading to the unintended publication of incorrect graphics. Initially, PureRED was planning on building an internal product to address these challenges before contacting CI HUB
The Pain Points Before CI HUB
Inefficient content incorporation
Users had to manually download assets from the DAM and then upload them into their working applications.
Difficult workflow streamlining
The lack of direct integration hindered the ability to create efficient and seamless workflows.
Challenges in tracking changes
It was hard to ensure that the latest versions of assets were being used, especially in long-term projects.
Risk of outdated content
The manual process increased the likelihood of publishing materials with incorrect or outdated assets.
The Game-Changing Solution
By adopting CI HUB, PureRED successfully resolved their content management and integration challenges. The solution provided by CI HUB offers a real-time, bi-directional connection between applications, DAM systems, and PIM systems. Now, their team can work more efficiently and ensuring the use of up-to-date assets in their projects.
This two-way communication allows users to pull content from the DAM or PIM system directly into their publications without leaving their working application. CI HUB overcomes the limitations of traditional DAM connections by providing a universal tool that integrates with Creative Cloud applications, Office products, Figma, Segment Sketch, Dropbox, and other tools.
