Henry Stewart DAM New York "the Great DAM Bake Off" 2022

In September 2022, Henry Stewart hosted the DAM New York conference, where one of the notable sessions was "The Great DAM Bake Off." This session challenged participants to demonstrate how they could use digital asset management (DAM) systems to streamline various workflows. CI HUB's CEO and Founder Andreas Michalski, took on this challenge, showcasing how CI Hub enhances the capabilities of leading DAM systems, making workflows more efficient and user-friendly.

The Challenge

The session presented a challenge to the participants, asking the to complete several steps:

• Capture Media: Participants were required to take pictures and videos on-site and transfer them to the DAM system.
• Editing: The media had to be accessed and edited in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
• Metadata Management: Metadata needed to be added to the digital assets using a controlled vocabulary.
• Asset Selection: A selection of approved assets had to be created.
• Publishing: The assets were to be published on a website and social media channels.
• Performance Monitoring: Finally, the performance of each asset was to be monitored.

Andreas demonstrated how these tasks could be efficiently completed using their the CI HUB Connector within Adobe Creative Cloud applications and Asana for work management. He also utilized Box for cloud storage and WordPress for website publishing, but CI Hub offers integration with over 60 leading DAM systems.
