HSE Webinar -The Power of Linking assets in Adobe Creative Cloud

Whether you are linking to or pulling assets from your DAM, MAM or PIM, join this session to discover how creative teams can accelerate workflow using a smart connector CI HUB between these systems and Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC).

Using extensions, creatives and marketers are able to find assets more easily and, importantly, ensure brand consistency. With sophisticated AI, the built-in automation speeds the process and helps to deliver personalised, timely messages faster and more efficiently.

Q&A form the HSE Webinar 9. June 2021

Q:  Are these Text contents pulled from the metadata on the system it’s connected to?
A: Yes, all Content from Metadata fields can be pulled via Drag&Drop for the Asset to the Document/Layer or Frame. We also support the use ot Text Content from Documents or from „Text Objects“. In case of Aprimo we all support Formaten Text ad Drag&Drop.

Q: Can you connect to Adobe XD or Adobe CC Libraries?
A: We will support Figma and Sketch in 2021 and then Adobe XD later on. These Products will be part of our „Design Family“.  The Integration of Adobe CC is already avail. And can be used within all CI HUB Connectors.

Q: Can you search specific metatdata fields and/or see options for controlled vocabulary? (besides keywords)?
A: This only depends on the options of the Integration. If the Integrations Vendor allows this via its API and if this is a Integration with Extended or above then we support this option as part of the search string. So please check our Website to get more infos or contact your Integration Vendor.

Q:  Which stock sites are included in CI HUB? We are interested in Shutterstock, Stocksy, Getty, Pond5, and Adobe Stock.
A: As of today we support Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, Getty Images, Unsplash and we are working on a lot more. But not on Ponds5 and Stocksy. But if you like then introduce us to them and we are happy to explore the option.

Q: Can you help me understand linking and whether your connector supports linking without needing to download linked assets when opening a new INDD file.
A: This is a nice Question. The Answer is YES, CI HUB can work with INDD without downloading the asset. And if you want to download it you have the full control for every asset and also the download Version. Ostens it is perfect to place an FPO (LowRes) Asset for doing the design and not the HighRes. You have the full control. Please visit our Tutorials and we give you more details.

Q: Can you map custom metadata fields into the CI Hub panel?
A: YES. We can map Custom Metadata as long as the Integration supports this.

Q: How are you supporting users on ARM-based platforms like Apple Silicon or Windows on ARM?
A: We already support M1 on MAC and we are already CEP11 compliant. The rest is up to Adobe 🙂

Q: How does the CI Hub panel handle authentication?  SSO/MFA?
A: We support the same method your Integration Supports. We preferrer oAuth2, but we also do SAML SSO and MFA. As we are using OKTA, we can do enterprise grade implementations.

Q: Can you show what that experience would look like for the user?  do they get driven out of the app at any point to handle their authentication, or is it all done within the panel?
A: Yes shure. Visit our Website at www.ci-hub.com/Tutorials there is a nice video to explain it.

Q: In the demo of drag and drop was within a PIM system, does it also works the same way via a DAM system?
A: Yes it works everywhere.

Q: What visibility does CIHUB give to the users in Adobe to metadata in the connected sources. Also if I have text assets stored as text in a DAM can I access those through CIHUB?
A: You can work with every Metadata, as long as you have the rights and the API of the Integration makes it avail. It also works with TXT assets.

Q: Does CI HUB works with CMS systems like WordPress or Sitecore?
A: WordPress and Sitecore is at the Roadmap in 2021.
