First, what is ISO/IEC 27001?

ISO/IEC 27001 is a globally recognized standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). This offers guidance on how an organization should deal with sensitive data from implementation, to maintenance including improving how the information is dealt with.

Why is ISO/IEC 27001 Important?

In today's world, where cyber threats are ever-evolving and on the rise, effectively managing cybersecurity risks is now a critical part of a company’s responsibilities. ISO/IEC 27001 plays a crucial role in helping organizations become more aware of these risks and take proactive steps to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
