Until January 15, 2019, interested founding teams could apply for MediaTech Now, the new accelerator of the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, the University of Potsdam and the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI). The first three start-ups have now moved in. They include CI HUB, CG Internals and Typeshift.
A unique start-up workspace will be created at the Babelsberg location. With the help of the Accelerator, you will be networked and made fit for investments. After 100 days in the program of the MediaTech Accelerator you are ready for the pitch in front of VCs, investors and business angels and can start at the market.
What is the Accelerator?
With MediaTech Now, the first comprehensive accelerator for founders of the media and technology industry was launched in Babelsberg. The space created jointly by the University of Potsdam, the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and the Hasso Plattner Institute is intended to help young start-up teams to survive in the market in the long term. The aim is to make the start-ups fit in a programme lasting several months. In addition, access to investment and capital is to be facilitated.
