Exciting news for anyone working with Contentserv! As a leading provider of product information management (PIM) and digital asset management (DAM) solutions, Contentserv will now support the full integration of the CI HUB Connector Family.
Content creation today moves fast. Teams need product data, brand assets, and project files in one place so they can work without losing time. That’s why the new integration between CI HUB and Contentserv is such a strong step forward.
Contentserv, which is now a part of Centric Software, continues to offer advanced Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions. With this update, it now supports the full CI HUB Connector Family. This gives users an easier and more connected way to work across their favorite tools.
This CI HUB integration solves these issues with one simple approach. Everything you need stays in one connected flow. Direct access to assets inside your daily tools. Contentserv users can now open, use, and update their product data and digital assets right inside the apps they use every day, such as:
Adobe Creative Cloud
Figma
Microsoft Office
Google Workspace
Salesforce
Canva
Sketch
And several other supported work applications
It cuts down the time spent switching between platforms and lets teams stay focused on the task at hand.

Creators and marketers often spend a lot of time doing small, repetitive tasks. They open multiple tabs, look for the correct product image, check if the price changed, or confirm whether a visual was approved. These small delays add up and slow down the entire team.
With the CI HUB and Contentserv integration, this everyday struggle becomes easier. The entire process feels smoother because all updates flow from one central place.
Here’s how it helps:
Every detail, whether it is a product description or a technical specification, remains up to date. When the source changes, the information inside your design or document updates too. This eliminates guesswork and prevents mistakes that occur when teams use outdated data.
Designers no longer download files over and over. Writers do not need to ask for the correct image again. You can open the latest approved asset directly inside your work app. This saves time and keeps everyone on the same page.

Whether you work in Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Slides, or Microsoft Word, the connector keeps your content fresh. If a file is updated in Contentserv, the change is visible everywhere. Teams do not need to redo work or track changes manually.
Every brand has rules, and this integration helps teams follow them without extra effort. Since everyone uses approved visuals and accurate product data, the final content stays consistent across all channels.
Along with these benefits, the workflow becomes cleaner and more reliable. Teams deliver projects faster. Repeated tasks are reduced. Miscommunication drops. And creators get more time to focus on producing quality work instead of managing files.
Here’s what the CEOs of CI HUB and Contentserv have to say:
Andreas Michalski, CEO and Founder of CI HUB, shared that Contentserv’s vision of providing users with a simple and intuitive experience aligns with CI HUB’s approach. With the CI HUB Connector, Contentserv users can manage both assets and product information without breaking their flow.
Michael Kugler, CEO of Contentserv, said their platform is designed to welcome modern technologies that add real value. The CI HUB integration brings a connected experience that helps creative teams work without friction.
Here are the steps to connect Contentserv with CI HUB:
1. Prerequisites:
Have a licensed instance of Contentserv's Digital Asset Management (DAM).
Active seat licenses for both Contentserv and CI HUB.
CI HUB must be installed as a local plugin in the supported applications where you want to use it (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud apps, Office 365, Figma).
2. Install CI HUB Connector in the supported applications you use (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
3. Open the CI HUB plugin panel inside your supported application.
4. In the CI HUB panel, go to the "Connections" tab.
5. Click the "+" button to create a new connection.
6. Search for "Contentserv" in the connections list and select it.
7. Log in with your Contentserv credentials on the Contentserv login screen that appears.
8. Upon successful login, the connection to Contentserv is established, and you can now browse, search, and access your Contentserv DAM assets directly from the CI HUB panel within the application.
9. If your connection expires, you can refresh it from the "Connections" tab.
10. You can save and load multiple connection profiles if you work with different systems or tasks.
11. Use the CI HUB panel to insert metadata, place assets into your documents, relink assets, or upload new versions directly back to Contentserv.
This integration streamlines asset usage and management by keeping all assets accessible in the creative/business apps you use day to day without switching platforms.
Teams today juggle multiple apps during a single project. Planning happens in one tool, designing in another, and managing approvals somewhere else. This constant switching slows down productivity.
Now, with the CI HUB and Contentserv integration:
Approvals and edits move faster
Teams stay aligned even across tools
Brand identity remains consistent
Creative output stays accurate and reliable
This supports designers, writers, marketers, and product teams equally well.
This integration marks a clear shift in how teams handle everyday content work. CI HUB brings the workflow tools that creators rely on, while Contentserv adds structure through accurate product data and organized digital assets. Together, they offer a setup that reduces manual effort and helps teams produce better content with confidence.
As content demands rise across brands, the need for a dependable and connected system becomes more important. This integration supports that growth by giving teams a simple way to stay updated, aligned, and productive. It removes the delays that come from searching for files or checking outdated information, and replaces them with a smooth experience that works across multiple tools.
The result is a stronger foundation for content delivery. Teams move faster. Mistakes reduce and brand messaging stays consistent. And creators get more time to focus on producing meaningful work, rather than managing scattered assets.
