CI HUB CEO Andreas Michalski was a lead speaker at DAM Helsinki Conference 2021.
DAM Helsinki is an amazing event hosted by Rolf Kopparz and his team for almost 10 years now. It takes place in Helsinki and attracts around 200 attendees. This year, 30-45 were at the event in-person at Helsinki Fairground and almost 100 others from around the world took part online. Rolf gathered an interesting mix of both attendees and speakers to the event.
In a session titled “Working with Silos: How ‘User-Based Silo Crossing’ (UBSC) is a new idea that’s empowering organisations”, Andreas Michalski explained how the CI HUB Connector allows its users to work directly within creative applications without having to jump between windows to do so.
Jarrod from the Real Story Group gave an amazing overview of Dam 1 to Dam 4. This describes the different maturity models of systems and customers. This was wonderful to watch and very informative.
Then the German giant Bosch gave us insight on their approach of a digital supply chain and how advances with their system Sharedien helps them innovate. Tobias Moser gave a good overview on this.
Then I had the chance to introduce CI HUB to the audience. I always love it presenting to people who are experienced and have already seen so much. I have the feeling that then people can really appreciate how to make something simple works best. Matti then gave a great overview on how an open source PIM can help manage your complex data. It was impressing to see this.
The city of Stockholm was presented in a case from John at Mediaflow. That was quite interesting on how they use image recognition in their assets.
DAM Helsinki Conference 2021 was a resounding success, featuring diverse insights from industry leaders. From my own talk on "User-Based Silo Crossing" with CI HUB, to Jarrod’s overview of DAM maturity models, and Mediaflow’s case study on image recognition, this blend of expertise and innovation reinforced DAM Helsinki as a premier event in the digital asset management community.
